Iomega’s SuperHero Charging Dock Will Rescue Your iPhone Contacts From Peril

Iomega today announced a new charging dock for iPhone that’s set to make backing up your contacts a cinch. The $69.99 SuperHero includes a 4GB SD card on to which your iPhone’s Contacts and Camera Roll will be backed up every time you dock to recharge.

Cloudberry Backup for Windows Home Server Vail On the Way

Cloudberry Labs have confirmed the forthcoming release of Cloudberry Backup for Windows Home Server Vail and Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials. News of the add-in was first announced on WGS Forums back in May, however, Cloudberry Lab’s weekend blog post included the first screenshot of the new version of the service.

KeepVault and KeepVault Pro & Business are data synchronisation and cloud backup add-ins for Windows Home Server. The add-in comes with a Connector application to be installed on your client PCs and Intel-based Macs (beta), which allows automatic synchronisation of new and changed files and folders directly to the home server, as well as automated backup to KeepVault’s cloud storage service.

Add-in Review: Cloudberry Backup v1.7 for Windows Home Server

We continue our look at online backup services for Windows Home Server with Cloudberry Backup, a relatively new service (the first release was in November 2009) but one that has quickly gained popularity in the community. Initially powered by Amazon’s S3 storage service, Cloudberry has recently added a Windows Azure storage option to the service, allowing the user the choice of where their data is hosted.
