Microsoft is certain that it wants to reach out to professional consumer electronics installers. Microsoft hosted a program called Media Center University at the Spring Electronic House Expo in Orlando last April as part of an effort to educate professional CE installers about the potential of Media Center in professional installations.

DirecTV Missing the Flight to Fiji?
We have been waiting on pins and needles for information, any information, on the next version of Windows Media Center, code-named Fiji. Unfortunately, all anyone has heard about Fiji in the last couple of months is that it is in beta testing, that it might be released late this year, and rumors that Fiji would bring support for the HDPC-20, the DirecTV tuner for Vista Media Center.
