CES 2012: BabyPing Takes Baby Monitoring to the Network with Mobile Apps

Hot on the heels of the Samsung Wi-Fi Baby Monitor announced at CES this week, a new division of Y-Cam has just launched BabyPing – a wireless video baby monitor with mobile apps and a few tricks up its sleeve.

BabyPing is a wireless camera delivering 640×480 resolution. It’s equipped with a built-in microphone, and a SmartFilter feature cuts out the background noise usually associated with baby monitors. Parents are alerted if the network connection drops, or if the baby gets upset.

Video streams to the free iOS apps which accompany the device.

BabyPing ships in February at £149.99.
