D-Link today revealed the latest additions to their IP Camera range, with the launch of the Cloud Camera 5000 (DCS-5222L) and Enhanced Wireless N Day/Night Home Network Camera (DCS-942L). The new cams offer motorised pan/tilt capabilities (on the Cloud Camera 5000) and automatic day/night viewing alongside support for remote online viewing via desktop or mobile app.
The HD (720p) Cloud Camera 5000 ships with a range of features, with video recorded at 30 fps. Email alerts can be configured for intrusion detection with automated recording triggers to catch the intruder in the act. Integration with external devices including doorbells, alarms, lighting, and motion sensors is also available.
Meanwhile, D-Link’s Enhanced Wireless N Day/Night Home Network Camera (DCS-942L) includes a microSD card slot for local recording should a network connection be unavailable.
Both devices support viewing via the company’s mydlink.com portal via a web browser, and apps for iPhone, iPad and Android allow remote viewing and control of the cameras. Expect to see them later in the year.
