Now they’re playing with our heads. We told you about a cracking deal from Newegg on Windows Home Server 2011 a couple of weeks ago, which was listed (with instand rebate) at a crazy $49.99. Many of you jumped in, and the retailer quickly pulled the promotion adding $20 on the price.

Add-in Update: Squeezebox Server 7.6

Logitech this week pushed out a major update to their Squeezebox Server software, which controls the Squeezebox range of digital audio receivers. An add-in for Windows Home Server v1 is available, which Windows Home Server 2011 owners can install and run the standard Windows application via a Remote Desktop Connection.

Iomega Unveils StorCenter ix2-200 Network Storage Cloud Edition

As previously discussed here on WGS, Iomega have been refreshing their NAS range with brand new software and a new Personal Cloud Storage feature which allows the backup and sharing of data with family and friends owning compatible devices. Add-in Update: Drive Bender v1.1.5.9

Drive Bender presents multiple hard drives as a single pool of data storage, either as a logical drive letter, or a network shared drive. Drive Bender is able to do this with internal and USB (or any externally) connected hard drives, of any size. A major beta release update for the add-in has just been released. According to the developer, this release offers a major increase in performance alongside stability updates.
