HP TouchPad Global Release Dates Revealed

In a press release issued yesterday, HP released further details on worldwide availability of their forthcoming TouchPad tablet. The device was made available for pre-order on June 19th, with a US release date of July 1st previously slated.

Yesterday’s news adds official release dates for the following countries:

  • United Kingdom – July 2nd 2011
  • Ireland – July 2nd 2011
  • France – July 2nd 2011
  • Germany – July 2nd 2011
  • Canada – July 15th 2011

The HP TouchPad will subsequently be released in Australia, Hong Kong, Italy, New Zealand, Singapore and Spain later in the year.
