Originally intended for the HP Mini series of netbooks, online retailers are now positioning the HP Mini Sleeve as an idea accessory for the HP TouchPad. That makes sense, as at 9.7″, the HP TouchPad is very similar in dimensions to many netbooks out there.
The HP Mini Sleeve is listed at $29.99 MSRP, but you’ll find it online for almost half that. It’s useful for transporting the HP TouchPad on the road due to its padding and secure zipped closure.
You’ll find two small pockets for peripherals, but don’t expect to be able to load them up with lots of kit – they’ll be handy for a small charger or your USB cables.
Again, as we’ve mentioned previously, the HP TouchPad is sure to get a host of third-party accessories, so if you’re thinking of getting a case or sleeve for your tablet, make sure you look around. That said, the official HP sleeve isn’t too pricey, and looks a pretty good option.
