First Knowledge Base Articles Emerge for Windows Home Server 2011 RTM

Now that Windows Home Server 2011 has reached RTM, we can expect to see Microsoft complete the product’s documentation, which includes finalizing the online help files accessible on the web and via links in the software itself.

Those publishing efforts include a suite of Knowledge Base articles for Windows Home Server 2011, Windows SBS Essentials 2011 and Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Essentials which hit the web this week (spotted by the ever-vigilant Susan Bradley).

The articles outline troubleshooting steps for a number of issues identified in the Colorado platform:

Bare Metal Recovery of Server May Fail
    -_-

At least the solution is quick and simple but something to remember.

How about an uppgrade van WHS1 to WHS2. Is this possible or not? If not we users have to build a new server.
And how big may one directory grow? My backup DVD directory under whs1 is 8 TB. Must I handle the files or will WHS2 do this for me?
