Introduction
The Apple iPad is a phenomenon. Even I have one! It is what I would term a great entertainment device, however, there are two glaring weaknesses that make it less than ideal for much more. One is the printing capabilities and the other is the input capabilities.
Addressing the second shortcoming is the subject of todays review, the AZiO KB333BM keyboard.
Of course, this leads to 2 questions. The first question, of course, is
- how well does it work (with the iPad)?
The second question is
- is this a better solution than those combo case/keyboard products?
Before we can answer those questions, we need to take a look at
What’s In The Box?
Being an Apple product, white and silver are the colors of choice.
Opening the package, we find the keyboard nicely protected.
Upon removing the contents, we will find a minimal amount of items inside the box. The keyboard, of course, plus batteries and a Quick Installation Guide.
A closer shot of just the keyboard,
and a comparison shot in front of my behemoth (by comparison) Logitech MX 5500 keyboard.
While significantly smaller, you will notice that the KB333BM employs a full-size keyboard layout, which is great for my mini-keyboard impaired hands!
