Plextor Rolls Out 4-Bay PX-NAS4 Network Attached Storage Drive
This week’s new NAS releases continues with Plextor throwing their hat into the ring with the new 4-bay PX-NAS4 Network Attached Storage drive. The $399 device arrives at the end of the month, and is targeted at small businesses seeking centralised file storage and sharing.
QNAP’s Business Series Grows With the 8-bay TS-859 Pro+ Turbo NAS
Whilst catering to small office and home users with the recently announced TS-119P+ and TS-219P+ series, QNAP are also targeting business users with the 8-bay TS-859 Pro+ Turbo NAS. The storage device is powered by Intel’s dual-core 525 Atom processor running at 1.8 GHz and packs 1GB RAM in support, driving transfer rates of up to 116 MB/s, according to the company.

News of the add-in was first announced on WGS Forums back in May, however, Cloudberry Lab’s weekend blog post included the first screenshot of the new version of the service.
