AZiO Serves Up USB 3.0 Storage

While Intel has been dragging it’s feet on incorporation of the USB 3.0 standard into it’s product line (supposedly in favor of LightPeak), this has not stopped other companies from developing host cards and USB 3.0 aware devices.

One such company is AZiO, which manufactures an assortment of computer peripherals.  I just learned of an advance announcement of their USB 3.0 lineup, which consists of just about everything you need for USB 3.0.  This includes a host adapter card, various 2.5″ and 3.5″ enclosures, and a docking station.  All of which range from just $25 to $38.

About the only thing I see missing is a USB 3.0 hub!  Those are some nice looking products, and if all goes well, I will receiving some review kit shortly to check out.

About Jim Clark

Hello. I’m from the heartland of the U.S. Lots of corn and beans, although Iowa is a lot more than just farmland. It also has a few computer enthusiasts (no, not me!). I’ve been around PCs since I got my 1st PC XT aloooong time ago. WGS is one of the first sites I found centered around WHS. And the best. Every once in awhile, I do get away from the KB and enjoy time with and my wife and our 4 kids. And I do have a day job.
