A couple of sites pointed to Cloudberry Lab’s announcement over the weekend that they’re preparing a version of their Cloudberry Backup add-in for Windows Home Server Vail.
The add-in backs up your home server to the cloud, with your choice of Amazon’s S3 or Windows Azure hosting. We reviewed the Windows Home Server v1 add-in a few weeks ago, so you can see for yourself how it works. If you’re at all concerned about the data stored on the server and need an extra layer of off-site protection, Cloudberry Backup is worth a look.
The news of the Windows Home Server Vail version of the service was first revealed by the company on WGS Forums back in May. Cloudberry Labs have also confirmed that a version of the add-in for Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials (formerly known as Windows Server “Aurora”) will also be released in due course.
