Introduction

Quite some time ago, Norco asked me if I would like to review one of their ITX cases.  I had nothing to put in it, so I declined.  Once I decided to build an ITX-based HTPC, I contacted Norco to see if they were still interested in having me look at that case.  They were so they sent me their ITX-7 case.  They also offered to send me a RPC-4224 24-bay rackmount case to review also.

I do not turn down rackmount hardware to review.

Subsequently, I perused the Norco and Newegg websites to get some preliminary information on both cases.  While I was on the Newegg site, I noticed this Norco R4-15U rack.  The reason I noticed it is that the customer reviews on this item were quite low.  After investigating further, I felt it would be interesting to see if Norco would allow me to review this item also.  Not only would I hope to demo how the rack worked, I felt it would be a great vehicle to showcase the RPC-4224.

The question is: was I at least successful in showcasing the RPC-4224?
