IFA 2010: Hauppauge Brings Tiny to TV With the PCTV picoStick Gold

You’ve be forgiven if you missed Hauppauge’s latest DVB-T tuner at IFA this year, as it’s tiny! The PCTV PicoStick is the world’s smallest TV Tuner and comes in two flavours, a standard DVB-T edition and a special limited edition Gold titanium variant. Remarkably, both tuners are just 35 x 12mm and look like a great solution for netbooks, although they’ll be just as comfortable on full sized notebooks and desktops alike.

An antenna can be attached directly to the tuner or accompanying travel dock to ensure the best reception. Both editions offer a single DVB-T stream. Use with PC is supported on TVCenter 6 and Windows Media Center whilst Mac owners are not forgotten with the picoStick Gold supporting Elgato’s EyeTV.

Expect to see the picoStick and picoStick Ultimate at your favourite tech store soon for 79 and 99 Euros respectively.
