If I install over the previous version of home server (version 1), will I lose all files in the data disks?

    • http://www.wegotserved.com Terry Walsh

      Yes you will.

And upgrading from the preview to the "final" version?
        Thanks

I'd be *very* surprised if an in place upgrade is available from Preview to RTM, and to be honest, even if there was, I wouldn't recommend it. These are very much beta builds, and shouldn't be relied on as production quality. You really don't want to put all of your data on there without a decent backup.

Can the refresh be installed over the first beta / vail?

    • http://www.wegotserved.com Terry Walsh

No, it'll need to be a fresh install with your data copied back to the server.
