Synology is releasing today a beta of the next version of DiskStation Manager OS. DSM 3.0 is a major update for the company’s network attached storage devices, offering the following features:
New Android apps DS cam, DS photo+ and DS audio provide mobile access to multimedia and surveillance cameras. DS audio for Android also has Remote Mode to control a DiskStation with attached USB speakers
Compatibility with VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Citrix Xen (on supported DiskStations)
