Raxco today announced a private beta program to test their forthcoming storage management solution for Windows Home Server Vail. The company have been working with Microsoft’s Home and Small Business Server team on the development of Windows Home Server’s Drive Extender v2 storage technology. On their blog today, the company put out a request for beta testing support:
The solution we are developing right now will be fully integrated to the new Vail dashboard and Launchpad. What we will be delivering is a complete storage management solution for Vail, that builds upon PerfectDisk’s extensive free space consolidation and extensive reporting capabilities.
We are also announcing now a new Private Beta program for Vail users. This program will allow participants to get early access to our product code as well as give them a close “seat” to the Microsoft Vail development team. Since we are in regular meetings with Microsoft and it is soliciting our feedback, we are also in a position to share user feedback and requests with the Vail team.
