In my recent review of the Synology DS210j, I mentioned the Package Manager which assists the user in installing additional Synology or 3rd party applications.
Yesterday, Synology announced an updated list of PHP applications (11 total!) that are compatible with Synology DiskStations. The complete list of Applications can be found here and the contents of this web page can be seen below.

Taipei, Taiwan—May 10, 2010—Synology® Inc. today announced that its DiskStation works with the new versions of eleven open source PHP applications, including Discuz! 7.2.0, Joomla 1.5.15, MediaWiki 1.15.3, Moodle 1.9.8+, OpenCart 1.4.7, phpBB 3.0.7, phpMyAdmin 3.3.2, Serendipity 1.5.2, Typo3 4.3.3, WordPress 2.9.2 and XOOPS 2.4.4. DiskStation users can now fully utilize the new features and enhancements available in these PHP applications.
Discuz! 7.2.0, Joomla 1.5.15, Moodle 1.9.8+, phpBB 3.0.7 and WordPress 2.9.2 have successfully passed a series of tests in the Synology laboratory and have been proven to be compatible with the system software, DSM 2.3-1141, while MediaWiki 1.15.3, OpenCart 1.4.7, phpMyAdmin 3.3.2, Serendipity 1.5.2, Typo3 4.3.3 and XOOPS 2.4.4 have been proven to be compatible with DSM 2.3-1157.
