I'm not sure if this is something that is relevant here at WGS but I may be incorrect as well.

      Hi John,

As We Got Served is a digital home website, we post about a lot of hardware that you can use with your home storage, as well as the storage itself.

      Best wishes

How much. Are they on drugs?

Hmmmmm now let me think…. Shall I buy a dual core windows 7 laptop with over 100 gig of storage, or perhaps an iphone on steroids with a measly 16gig of storage?

    • http://intensedebate.com/people/Jim_Clark Jim_Clark

But then you don't get someone elses half-eaten apple!

    • http://intensedebate.com/people/boggy4062 boggy4062

Yea, and when the you drop it, you are entirely SOL…. I did play it at one of the Apple's store, and I liked the very bright screen and slick design. However, what really hit me, is how delicate this super-sized Ipod is. Add to it Steve Job's recent irrational behaviour … I'd rather wait for a Android/Windows 7 based device.

Wait until you try one and run a little App called Air Video with all your Videos/Tv feeding live to IPAD from your WHS, instant videos anywhere at home……….
A friend of mine called it the best way to enjoy it all on the loo!!!!

    • http://intensedebate.com/people/boggy4062 boggy4062

Sorry, but I could not run any of the videos from on10.net nor other windows based clips…. Jobs inability to limit his "I-am-a-control-freak" attitude is just beyond scary.

  • Dark_star

Sorry did not mean to mislead .. not live TV but divx/avi/mkv recordings

We have had our WIFI iPad for about 3 weeks now. As a photographer – this is a geat tool to present "digital" photos on a media that is light and easy to pass around. Its not a laptop, with that in mind it does just what we need it to do. I wish the Wireless network was a bit more stable… seems to forget IP adress every few days… but an easy fix to get it going again… Hope the "fix" will be out soon

I have a Wifi device from day 1 and am very happy with ease of use. How about a device that does 80% of what I do on my laptop (email, facebook, video, simple web, …) but boots in 1 sec and I can carry wherever I am. I'll probably upgrade to the 3G version (and give this one to a colleague) but it's a great device

Hmm those prices seem a little hopeful to say the least not to mention the overlap between the Wi-Fi 64GB and the 3G version. For such a price I don't see its purpose, but then again apparently a million people in the US do 0_o

  • whssiteorwhat?

But then again its MUCH cheaper in the US :p
