Logitech Brings sub-$100 Harmony Remotes to Market

Coming out of Engadget via Slashgear via Blog.Logitech (say that 5 times!) is news of a pair of sub-$100 Harmony remotes.  The Harmony 600 and 650.

Regardless of what anyone says about any particular brand of remote, these words from Logitech are absolutely true:

Owning a remote that simplifies today’s complex home-entertainment systems is essential to performing even basic activities such as watching TV..

What you will get with these new remotes is this:

  • Harmony 600 Remote: black & white screen, 5 device control

The Logitech Harmony 600 Remote will be available for a suggested retail price of $79.99 (U.S.) and the Logitech Harmony 650 Remote for a suggested retail price of $99.99 (U.S). Both remotes are expected to be available in the U.S. and Europe in late March.

It is nice to see some programmable remotes coming on market that don’t empty your wallet…
