Just a heads up, my console started acting up and I had to uninstall this add-in. I'm on PP3 on a self built system, if that helps anyone.

  • Marcel

I also have problems with this plugin. Installed it on my HP EX490, it said is was installed OK, and when I restarted my WHS Console, I couldn't open SABnzb.
I decided to uninstall (to try again). I tried to uninstall in the same way I always uninstall stuff: through the Add-ins (settings) tab. It did do something: the SABnzb tab is now gone, and SABnzb is also no longer available under "settings". However, on the "Add-ins" tab @settings, it seems to be installed still. If I click "uninstall" I simply get an error message "uninstallation failed".

Not sure what to do now… how can I uninstall this??

  • Marcel

Nevermind the uninstallation question, I found this tool, that did the trick! :)

This add-in doesn't work, at least on a french WHS HP X510.
In case sabnzb is already installed, it doesnt take care of it and install its own version.
The existing sabnzb.ini is not read, so you have to set all your parameters again.
The web page do not load if you try with https (I saw that I could connect using http://localhost:8080).

I don't see how this is anything unique. As long as SABNzbd is running on the server and access is enabled, anyone on the network can access the web interface from a browser window. You don't even have to launch the connector.

installled it, tested it and it works great. thanks man!

I just do not understand what trhe Newzbin functionality brings me? I got invited by someone, so I have an account, I just dont see what this brings me?

  • Radial
