Netgear this morning announced a new 2TB Edition of their Stora NAS device.

The Stora is a Linux based 2 Bay storage device with a suite of media sharing and backup features, including:

  • Centralize all your digital media (videos, music, photos) in a single, safe location
  • Share a photo album with selected friends and family through selected user access controls
  • Watch your movies directly streaming from home to any Internet-connected device
  • Stream music in the subway or car on your iPhone
  • Protect all your valuable documents by backing them up on the optional 2nd bay
  • Swap or add a hard drive in minutes without using any tools.
  • Integrates with Facebook, iTunes®, Flickr™ and Web-enabled phones
