CES 2010: Sanus Adds AV Racks To Foundations Product Set

In the words of Will Smith in Independence Day: “I have got to get me one of these!”

cfr127 thumb CES 2010: Sanus Adds AV Racks To Foundations Product Set

These may be designed for AV component, but still…

Also, it’s not like I really want a Rack system that bad.  The problem is that my “Man Cave” has my

  • L-shaped Computer Desk
  • #1 computer cart that my AV receiver (and a few other odds-‘n-ends) sits on
  • #2 computer cart that holds my (2) WHS machines (one has a rack mount chassis) and printer and more…

Translation: a hodge-podge of what I had sitting around.

But mostly,  I am a sucker for rackmount systems.

Anyway, enough whining.

The announcement:

About Jim Clark

Hello. I’m from the heartland of the U.S. Lots of corn and beans, although Iowa is a lot more than just farmland. It also has a few computer enthusiasts (no, not me!). I’ve been around PCs since I got my 1st PC XT aloooong time ago. WGS is one of the first sites I found centered around WHS. And the best. Every once in awhile, I do get away from the KB and enjoy time with and my wife and our 4 kids. And I do have a day job.

It's all about the racks! Unfortunately, racking infrastructure is expensive and mostly unaffordable for domestic customers such as myself. I've had luck that got me my racks, my 18U for example came from a building society that shut down, so it's great to see racking and cabinets aimed at the home user!
