Nigel ‘Cougar’ Wilks and partner in crime, Alex Kuretz continue their Windows Home Server adventures with WHS Health, a brand new add-in which creates a diagnostic report on your home server health that is specially formatted for viewing on an iPhone or iPod Touch.
The web pages can be viewed directly from an optional link you can place on your home server web page, and you can also restrict viewing of those pages to users with Remote Access positions.
Update: Nigel and Alex have updated the add-in to v. 1.0.0.7. The new version checks that you’re installing on Windows Home Server PP3 and clarifies that the web pages also work well on Palm Pre and Android.

Android anyone? But I would think that since it is accessible via a web page, that any web enabled device can view the information.

“WinMo browsers aren’t very modern so have a hard time”
I don’t think Opera Mobile 9 and 10 are really old(all HTC devices use Opera Mobile) – in context to the support of third party plugins like flash they are better than most browsers on any platform
PS: i hate flash

I own an HTC Mogul aka PPC6800 and it doesn't have Opera, only IE which is what I was basing my comment on. IMHO Windows Mobile is far behind in terms of usability and functionality when compared to the iPhone and Android. We welcome feedback on how the site works in Opera!

Why not try Opera, As far as I'm aware it's better than Safari on the iPhone (standards wise)
10. December 2009 at 11:41 pm
I should have clarified that those browsers I tested were on the PC platform and all work well. You're welcome to try Opera, if it is indeed superior to Safari then it should have no problem rendering pages. Again, this is a web app that uses iPhone like styling, it's not a native iPhone app.

Really Simple and works fantastically! Perfect
Thanks!

Hi,
with opera mobile it looks okay, first it zooms in the page although the whole page would fit on the screen( don’t know why) but after a short period of time the page is displayed correctly.
With IE (6) on WinMob 6.5 it looks horrible, but who cares
11. December 2009 at 3:54 pm
Anyone tried it on a blackberry?
So far we can see it works on Android, iPhone, Touch, WinMob with Opera Mobile.

Works fine on Windows Mobile 6.5 browsers and Opera on the latest HTC devices. If your Windows Mobile phone has IE6 or the newer versions of Opera, it looks like you should be fine.
