Windows Home Server Debuts at the Microsoft Store

It’s a surprise, as at a corporate level, Microsoft haven’t really got hold of Windows Home Server and thrust it into the marketplace, but the debut Microsoft store opened last week in Scottsdale, Arizona and shoppers got to see the HP MediaSmart Server.

Tom on Tech has a full report from his visit last week, and was impressed by what he saw – however, as we’ve seen previously with WHS in retail, the HP MediaSmart Server did not have a showcase demo set up. Hopefully someone was around to explain it wasn’t a funky looking desktop PC.

But hey, they’re there in the mix and that’s what counts. Check out Tom on Tech for the full blow by blow.
