Alongside last week’s announcement of the HP MediaSmart Server’s arrival in the UK, HP also sent through details of new notebook and desktop releases which looked pretty cool.

The MS200 is a non-touch all-in-one PC, with an 18.5 inch screen housing the display and PC components behind. At £499$599, it’s a lot cheaper than HP’s TouchSmart range, with a dual-core AMD processor and NVIDIA integrated graphics providing sufficient power for day to day computing at a reasonable price. A built in webcam, speakers and wireless networking completes the line up for tidy computing – ideal an an extra PC in the kitchen, lounge or desk. Think notebook glued to a monitor and you’re not too far away from the concept. It’s available from November 16th in the UK (October 18th in the USA) and should come packing Windows 7. That model is available for £800 from October 22nd and higher spec models (including Blu-Ray, RAM, Graphics and Processor upgrades) weigh in at £1000 and £1300 respectively.
