Now that you have PHP and MySQL installed, it is time to move on and install WordPress. Before I do, one of the nice error checking portions of this add-in checks (just like the MySQL installer) to see if PHP and MySQL have been installed. If not, the add-in informs you of this and closes.
Once again, installing this add-in is as simple as any other add-in. Copy the msi installer to your D:SoftwareAdd-ins folder, open the WHS Setting Window in the console and install the software from the Add-ins tab, as shown below.
All done! Almost. Before you can actually start working with WordPress, you do need to configure MySQL. Open your browser (from the WHS desktop) once again, and enter in https://SERVERNAME/pma where SERVERNAME is the name of your WHS. Click on the Privileges tab which will bring you to the following screen.
Click on “Add new user” which will bring you to the following screen.
Fill out the information exactly as shown below. Make sure each field appears exactly as shown (except the actual password), and make sure you click on “Create database with same name and grant all privileges” radio button. Click on the “Go” in the lower right-hand corner
which brings you to the following screen:
Finally, you can start to work with wordpress! If needed, reopen your browser. Enter in https://REMOTEACCESSLINK/blog where REMOTEACCESSLINK is the remote access URL for your WHS.
Yes, you must have your WHS configured for Remote Access.
You will encounter the following:
