Is Australia Finally Getting the HP MediaSmart Server?

We’ve not yet heard from HP on which countries outside the US will be getting the new HP EX490 Series MediaSmart Server, but we know that the UK will be one country, and according to this recent blog post, Australia may just be about to get their first glimpse of the product on home soil.

Apparently, a HP Sales Rep in the land of Vegemite and poor cricket performances (this summer, anyway!) confirmed that two models would be released.

I know a lot of you Aussies have been waiting a long time for the release of a major home server -  fingers crossed the wait is finally over…
