HP and Raxco Partner Up On the New MediaSmart Server

As you’ll have seen, HP have today announced the launch of the new EX490 and EX495 MediaSmart Servers. One of the changes you may have noticed is the inclusion of an “Add Software” link on the MediaSmart’s dashboard, which opens up a new Software Partner website with deals on commercial Windows Home Server software.

Right now, you’ll find the defrag boys, Raxco and Diskeeper, up there with Raxco offering a 10% off deal on PerfectDisk 10 for Windows Home Server. Amazon’s Online Backup for the MediaSmart Server is coming soon.
