Add-In Update: WHS Disk Management

Sam Wood, author of the very popular WHS add-in WHS Disk Management, has written a “teaser” blog on his site titled “Windows Home Server Disk Management, a retrospective”.  In this article, he alludes to the imminent release of v1.1xx of this add-in.

For private beta testing only.  Once again.

If you are interested in testing out Sam’s latest, you can contact him at the link above.  Or if you have been part of his previous beta testing in the WGS forums, Sam will be adding a download link there shortly.  According to Sam, there are some significant changes to the GUI interface.

And now for “hurry it up Sam” paragraph. smiley laughing Add In Update: WHS Disk Management

The original v1.1xx version discussion began October 27th, 2008.  That was….  10 months ago!  Which is about how long I have been using this version.  It has been quite stable for me, at least.  So, Sam, let’s finish this private beta up and get it out to the masses!  OK?

End of the “hurry it up Sam” paragraph. smiley wink Add In Update: WHS Disk Management

About Jim Clark

Hello. I’m from the heartland of the U.S. Lots of corn and beans, although Iowa is a lot more than just farmland. It also has a few computer enthusiasts (no, not me!). I’ve been around PCs since I got my 1st PC XT aloooong time ago. WGS is one of the first sites I found centered around WHS. And the best. Every once in awhile, I do get away from the KB and enjoy time with and my wife and our 4 kids. And I do have a day job.
