It is truly regrettable that we are not seeing any news or indication as to what will be next in VAIL. Only those with signed NDA know some of the info, but they cannot provide any information, (we understand). My primary desire for the upcoming WHS release revolves around whole home media... - Media Center "server" and includes a Live Mesh Media Center app for accessing Media Center Live TV, Recordings (Protected or Not) from other home networked PCs. I wonder if Microsft will piggyback the "Vail" WHS release with a major update to the Media Center/Extender platform itself. Media Center in Windows 7 isn't all that much different from Vista's Media Center w/TV Pack. I don't expect to hear anything new about WHS until CES.
