Nick Asseloos is the driving force behind Asoft, which produces the WHS add-ins AutoExit and Addin Cleanup Tool.

Nick is developing a new add-in for WHS and is looking for some WHS experts to help test it.  Please take a look at the request post on the Asoft blog or WGS forums.

The actual announcement:

To apply for this private beta program, answer these questions:
1. How long have you had a WHS for?
2. Describe your technical skills. (In short)
3. Describe your WHS hardware (cpu(s),disks, memory, type, vendor,…)
4. Why would you want to test this new add-in?
5. Have you developed for WHS already?

Send a mail to: beta@asoft-ware.com
Only 20 testers will be allowed.
The people that have been selected will be notified personally.

Also very important, we still need translators for Spanish & French.

Nick is a little sketchy regarding the purpose of the add-in.  Nevertheless, I signed up for it.  I like testing things in the dark!  Not that I will be able to tell you much once we begin, as I have to adhere to a NDA to be a tester.

If you want to help develop a new add-in, send an email request to beta@asoft-ware.com.  Remember, only 20 testers allowed, so hurry up and send that email.  Now!

Hello. I’m from the heartland of U.S. Lots of corn and beans, although Iowa is a lot more than just farmland. It also has a few computer enthusiasts (no, not me!). I’ve been around PC’s since I got my 1st PC XT aloooong time ago. WGS is one of the first sites I found centered around WHS. And the best. Every once in awhile, I do get away from the KB and enjoy time with and my wife and our 4 kids. And I do have a day job.
