Add-In: SABnzbd Manager

SABnzbd Manager is an add-in which allows you to manage downloading from Usenet newsgroups, utilising the SABnzbd application. This application manages the download of parts of files, split over multiple newsgroup posts as well as the reassembling of those file parts into the full set of files.

The add-in automatically installs all of the files required to run – you simply need access to a decent Usenet server (some ISPs still offer Usenet access, and there are also third-party operators available who provide a full set of newsgroups commercially), as well as a source for .nzb files (Google can help here)

It looks like a couple of people were working separately on such an add-in – this one is the first to be released.

The release is in beta and has a couple of known issues – Uninstall only works half the time. Manual dll-deletion can be necessary. Make sure you’re aware of this before deciding to install.
