Add-in Update: Advanced Admin Console 0.5.0 Beta

Andreas M has updated his popular add-in, Advanced Admin Console, to v0.5.0 Beta resolving a major compatibility issue with Internet Explorer 8.

IE8 is now being released to Windows Home Server via Windows Update, and installing the new version of the browser broke access to Advanced Admin Console.

The new version brings the following changes:

  • Compatible with Internet Explorer 8
  • Recycle Bin access added
  • Launch Desktop added
  • Workgroup option removed
