You’ve been submitting your ideas in their hundreds for the Windows Home Server Add-In Idea Challenge ‘09, and there’s just one week left for your submissions. Remember, this is the competition where you submit your ideas for cool add-ins, the community votes on them, and the judges pick the best entry which will be coded up and released as Windows Home Server add-in – no developer skills required, just your imagination, creativity and brain power!

If you missed our original announcement, then make sure you take a look! Then submit your ideas.

Over the weekend, we’ll be finalising the prize-list – not just for the winning idea, but for a lot of the finalists too. Our competition supporters have stepped up and offered a HUGE amount of kit to win in this competition – seriously, we’re having to work hard to figure out how to give it all away!

Steven over at Microsoft dropped a small hint about their contribution…, and you can expect more from our competition supporters listed below.

We’ll announce the full prize-list early next week, but believe me, you won’t want to delay getting your ideas in pronto! So, take a bit of time over the weekend thinking through your ideas (if you need a little inspiration, the WGS Add-in Request forum is a great source) and maybe that idea will end up being developed up into a real add-in by Felix Kollman, and if not, you still have the opportunity to be a part of our biggest ever giveaway!
