Its the "brain" of the show, really. The idea of connecting all your components to a receiver is the concept of audio/video switching, allowing you to switch to different video sources (like TV, DVD, camcorder) on your TV and thus changing the audio source accordingly - all without touching anything but the receiver. I am not asking HP to give me anything but would like the opportunity to purchase v2.5 at a resonable price versus me having to buy a whole new system. I have already upgraded my memory and CPU. I am also somewhate disapporint that HP after the months I waited after buying my Server waiting for them to fix the problems with corrupting data. I think that the fact that most of us put up with this loss of use would mean something to HP. Sinc then I have purchashed two additional Notebook computers from HP not to mention the printers I purchaed. I think the HP should do what they can to support their supporters for the long term rather than the short term return. I am thankful that Hp will be providing another update for the 47X.
