Mr. Jim Clark, MVP

April sees a new group of people being awarded Microsoft’s coveted MVP award, which is handed out to members of technical communities who have provided first-class and continued support to the general public.

I’m delighted to see that WGS stalwart, writer, ace reviewer and forum moderator Jim Clark has received the MVP award for Windows Home Server.

As many of you know, Jim’s done a phenomenal job here supporting the WGS community with over 100 reviews and posts about WHS hardware, software and add-ins and still finds time to hang out and help out at the forums. What a guy!

Please join me in offering Jim well-deserved congratulations for the award!

Thanks everyone! It is not often one gets rewarded for doing something that is fun to do. Being an engineer, I never really thought there was a writer in me.

There are 2 very special people I have to thank. Brent Crosby at Crystalfontz for giving me the opportunity me to get my feet wet. And Terry Walsh for the opportunities he has given me here.

I have total respect for these 2 gentlemen.

And, of course, I have to thank the readers of WGS! Without you, WGS would not exist. And your feedback is always appreciated. If I hit the nail on the head, let me know. And if I hit my thumb instead, let me know that also! :) Engineers develop thick skin or don’t remain in the profession!

Finally, I have to thank Microsoft for giving me this award.

    Once again, everyone, thank you!
