Epson Release Upgrade to Their Japanese Home Server Line

Back in August we shared details of Epson’s entry into the Japanese Home Server market with the release of the Endeavor SV110H Home Server – a small footprint chassis, resembling a Mac Mini.

Various sources online are now pointing to a new model, utilising the same chassis, which Epson are positioning clearly for the small business market.

The Endeavor SV120H comes with a choice of processors – a Celeron 575 (2GHz) or Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.4GHz) so you’ll have plenty of grunt under the bonnet. You’ll have 1Gb of RAM and the choice of storage from 160Gb up to 1Tb (2 x 500Gb).

Akihabara News are quoting pricing at 65,000 Yen (EUR 520) for the entry level Celeron model. A minor upgrade, but a decent reduction in price from the previous model.
