New Forum at WGS: Marketplace

Hot on the heals of our latest forum, Hot Deals, is its cousin, Marketplace.  Like the forum description states:

If you have some old or unwanted kit to sell, then announce it here and you may find a buyer from the WGS Community.

But we won’t limit it to just a seller posting and trying to find a buyer.  Threads may be grouped around the following transaction types:

  • FS (For Sale)
  • FT (For Trade)
  • WTB (Want to Buy)
  • WTTF (Want to Trade For).

And remember that old saying: “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure”.  I used to have an old Thermaltake case.  I got rid of it, but for whatever reason, I had saved the drive bay side rails.  I happened onto a post on a Thermaltake forum where someone was looking for those exact items.  That person never responded back, but I had 3 or 4 other requests for them.  They simply did not last long, and I did not even charge shipping for these items.  It was not worth the hassle.

So, whether you are looking to sell, buy, or trade, head on over to the WGS marketplace.  You just might find your piece of treasure for sale at junk prices!  And for the record, I have a whole closet full of junk (oops, I mean treasure!) to go through.  I doubt it would be economical to ship anything overseas, but perhaps if you are in the U.S. …  I just really need to reclaim some space!

Before you post something though, please be sure to read the Guidelines and Rules sticky.

About Jim Clark

Hello. I’m from the heartland of the U.S. Lots of corn and beans, although Iowa is a lot more than just farmland. It also has a few computer enthusiasts (no, not me!). I’ve been around PCs since I got my 1st PC XT aloooong time ago. WGS is one of the first sites I found centered around WHS. And the best. Every once in awhile, I do get away from the KB and enjoy time with and my wife and our 4 kids. And I do have a day job.
