Last month we discussed D-Link’s range of home and small office surveillance cameras which were on show at CES.
Today, the company announced the release of an ehanced suite of surveillance products focused predominately on the home user.
Within the suite, you’ll find:
D-Life Internet Surveillance Camera Starter Kit (DH-390)
A $249 kit consisting of a surveillance camera and two powerline adaptors which will allow you to connect the camera to your network over a standard electrical socket.
The camera can be controlled and configured remotely via D-Link’s own D-Life website, whilst the camera itself offers a decent range of features, including:
- E-mail notification of motion-triggered events
- Low-light video capture
- Built-in microphone
- Adjustable, mountable camera stand
- Expandable via the D-Link DHA-310 Internet Surveillance Camera Expansion Kit
…talking of which:
D-Life Internet Surveillance Camera Expansion Kit (DHA-310)
The expansion kit, retailing at $209.99 simply offers an additional camera and extra powerline adaptor allowing you to keep an eye on additional areas of the home.
D-Life Internet Surveillance Video Player (DHA-330)
Last but not least in the suite is the DHA-330 Video player, again powerline connected which boasts a 7” LCD screen, motion detector and built in alarm clock! Convergence a go-go!
You can pick up the DHA-330 for $199.99

Pretty cool. I don’t see any way of integrating this with Media Center so I can access feeds from Media Center Extenders. Also, it would be great if it could record events to Windows Home Server.
