Ooh, good, there’s going to be a Power Pack 2! Please, please tell me [yes, that's rhetorical - I understand you're under NDA!] it finally offers a fully supported, easy way to backup one’s backup database to an external drive for off-site storage? I’m doing it semi-manually through RDC at the moment but it worries me somewhat that if my house burns down and I have any problems restoring onto a new WHS from my external backup, I’m on my own.

name connection…. WHS team is using ski resorts now? The MS OS team for several OS including XP and Vista(well vista was codenamed for a bar at XP codenamed resort)the Longhorn salon at Whistler/blackcomb ski resort.

so it looks like they like ski resorts as much as the other OS teams do…..

I saw SnoQ on MS Connect last night and have downloaded it however I haven’t signed an NDA or anything so I assume I “have” to keep quiet – especially if it excludes me from the beta of “Vail”!!!

@JohnCz – That’s the biggest thing I’m waiting for, but I would see it more as an add-in rather than something properly built-in – especially given the still Beta state of Live Mesh, and the Live Mesh’s team rather pedestrian update rate.

The beta version is on Microsoft connect, FYI. I went and downloaded it but havent tried it yet….It seems like a list of the features are a little hard to come by

Terry should be able to tell us if he thinks there is enough in PP2 to excite the WeGotServed community.

I’d love to see integration between WHS and Live Mesh. But I’m not sure if Live Mesh is going to be ready before PP2 is released. There is still alot of work to integrate Live Mesh with Windows Live. And I don’t expect improved media streaming experiences until Vail is released. So what else could they include that would deemed significant?
