Windows 7 Media Center Design Evolving

Paul Thurrott posted a set of screenshots this weekend of a post-M3 (Milestone 3) build of Windows 7 – this build is much more recent than the build previewed at last month’s PDC, and show that Windows 7 Media Center is still undergoing a lot of user interface development.

Included in the screenshots posted are a newly designed setup wizard, and a new Windows Media Center gadget that looks different to the one released with the PDC build (6801). That new front end is starting to look really polished. What do you think?

Hoping this is included in WHS V2. This was my main gripe with the current WHS. Looks clean, as expected now.

Looks sexy, hopefully it will get along with divx & xvid a little better than the current version with it’s divx thumbnail crash.
