Windows Vista Secrets SP1

Windows Vista Secrets SP1 & Windows Home Server

Whilst I was aware that Paul Thurrott had updated his Windows Vista Secrets book, with a second edition covering Vista SP1, I didn’t realise that there was a new section in there on Windows Home Server. Looks like Paul has covered the basics on installation and configuration, a look at the console and a deep dive into some of WHS’ features but there’s also a section in there on integrating Windows Home Server and Windows Live OneCare on your network, which may be of interest whilst OneCare is still around.

If you’re after a Windows Vista book, you may want to check it out – it looks really comprehensive.

My four machines have Live OneCare. Since I started using WHS last July, I thought there was a real opportunity for MS to incorporate OneCare into the server. Too bad they’re canning it altogether.
