Brian Binnerup’s My Movies for Windows Home Server is still in its beta phase, and it looks like Brian is still adding new features to the add-in as it nears release.
Version 1.0.0.7 will come with new CD ripping facilities, enabling you to take music from your CDs and convert it to a digital file format.
At this point, we’re waiting to hear what will be provided in the way of file tagging and metadata management.
With multiple software and hardware based CD ripping applications now available for Windows Home Server, it certainly looks like the platform is increasingly well placed for media management as well as storage.
