Commercial add-in VPOP Email Server for Windows Home Server has received an update, taking the application up to version 2.60g. This add-in provides a full POP3 Email Server for Windows Home Server with optional spam filtering.
Features and fixes are as follows:
- Fix problem with connection session not finishing properly if (the obsolete) Sophos update was enabled
- Don’t report ‘encrypted attachment’ errors from avast!
- Fix IMAP4 problem with certain types of attachments (Enterprise only)
- Fix IMAP4 problem with certain complex message structures (Enterprise only)
- Fix some problems with webmail sending messages
- Fix problems with some reports & spamfilter whitelist in some web browsers
- Fix problem with ‘enhanced message view’ in webmail with some invalid message headers
- Fix some exceptions
The update is free for owners of VPOP 2.0 or later, everyone else will have to stump up £30 ($54) for the base level (6 user) add-in.
