Out of Redmond comes a new addition to Windows Media Center. MSNBC News content is being integrated into the Windows Media Center user interface in the TV + Movies menu - starting today. There is nothing that the user needs to download, as it installs as part the of the daily Media Center updates.

- Five-day weather forecast for any zip code in the U.S.
- Customized news video playlists
- Ability to browse by category, such as Business, Sports, and Entertainment
- Search for stories using keywords
- Related videos for each story
And now the kicker. This is available only in the U.S. and Canada. You guys in Europe really need a BBC News version of this new feature! MSNBC news is available now for those users with a Windows Vista-based Media Center PC and a broadband connection.
