Courtesy of Kentdome Technologies, developers of the popular GridJunction add-in for WHS, we’ve got a copy of Windows Home Server to give away to one lucky reader, plus a copy of the book which tells the story of Windows Home Server, “Mommy, Why Is There a Server in the House?” for a runner up.
GridJunction allows you to monitor and manage an Uninterruptible Power Supply attached to your home server through the Windows Home Server Console – you’ll be able to control the UPS through any home computer on the network and receive alerts if there’s a power issue. Best of all, it’s free (so I guess it would be a little cheap to give copies away as competition prizes, wouldn’t it?)
To be in with a chance of winning, here’s how to enter.
Simply take the time to write a review of GridJunction (good or bad!) or an article about “Why you should protect your home server with an Uninterruptible Power Supply” on a blog/community site of your choosing, or at our forums here at WGS.
Requirements:
1. English language only
2. Factually correct and current
3. 100 word minimum
Use this post at the WGS forums to submit your review/article or let us know where you posted it.
Competition ends at Midnight (GMT) on Wednesday October 8th
Good luck!
