We don’t feature digital photo frames all that much here at WGS, and maybe that’s because we’ve often found them tricky to configure with Windows Home Server – that said, they often work perfectly with modern home computers running Windows Media Player 11, so they can be a great addition to your digital home.
This week, Samsung announced the release of four new digital photo frames – two 8 inch frames (the SPF-85H and Wi-Fi enabled SPF-85V) which hit the streets next week at $129.99 and $199.99, then in October you can get your hands on a 10 inch frame, the SPF-105P (also $199.99) and finally in November, the top of the range SPF-105V will be released, sporting both a 10 inch display and Wi-Fi.
Interestingly, both Wi-Fi enabled frames are optimised to stream images directly from Windows Live Spaces via an integrated service called Live Now Share Now and offer full RSS feed subscriptions from publications like USA Today as well as around 400 other feeds from Frame Channel.
