Add-In Update: WHS Disk Management v1.0.9.8

The latest version of Sam Wood’s WHS Disk Management add-in for Windows Home Server came out of beta today, and is now available for download.

WHS Disk Management provides much a greater level of detail regarding your home server’s hard disks as well as providing a fully configurable visual representation of your hard disk configuration. It’s certainly one of the most popular community add-ins released for Windows Home Server and it’s great to see Sam and the community working together to continually build new features and ever higher quality into the software.

In this release, new features and fixes are as follows:

  • WHS Power Pack 1 support
    - completely rebuilt add/remove disk functionality to support PP1 changes
    - shiny new add/remove disk wizards
    - server backup disk management supported
  • Ready for localization
    - German version is available for download
    - other languages are currently in development
