Win an Exclusive Windows Home Server Scrolling LED Badge!

Today is the last day of the competition. Make sure you get your entry in as soon as possible!

Every year, we’re going to do an annual reader survey, so we can find out a bit more about people who check out We Got Served and see how our audience is evolving as the Windows Home Server community grows. It will help us ensure that our coverage stays interesting and relevant and also offers you guys the opportunity to share your feedback on what we’re doing and how we could improve.

The survey is hosted over at Survey Monkey, and shouldn’t take more than 5-10 mins to complete. It’s all completely anonymous and you don’t have to leave any personally identifying information.

To make it worth your while, however, I am offering up for a prize the mother of all Windows Home Server swag! This Windows Home Server branded Scrolling LED Display Badge will be handed out to one person at random who completes the survey. The badge is user configurable with a series of scrolling messages of your choice and does lots of whizzy things like scrolling, flashing etc.

A very limited number of badges were produced and handed out at this year’s MVP Summit – most of the WHS Team do not have one of these, so it’s a very cool prize indeed.

Entering the competition is optional, but if you do want to enter, just add your email address in the form at the end of the survey. The survey will run until the end of June and the prize winner will be announced just after.

Good Luck!

Shiny! I wonder if we could hack it to display drive temperatures… ;)

I was looking at something similar Sam… unfortunately these things do not use a well understood (or discoverable) API/protocol for programming… though if you can figure it out… by all means :)
